2010 Ducati Hypermotard 796.

Aimed to be a lighter and more compact urban-weapon, the new 796 features a host of changes, including an all-new engine, lower seat height, new colorways, super-light-action APTC clutch and, best of all, a lower price. The 796 now provides an entry-level version for those looking to spend a bit less.
    Ducati has released details for its new Hypermotard 796. Aimed to be a lighter and more compact urban-weapon, the new 796 features a host of changes, including an all-new engine, lower seat height, new colorways, super-light-action APTC clutch and, best of all, a lower price. The 796 now provides an entry-level version for those looking to spend a bit less.

    The Hypermotard 796 will be powered by a new Desmodue L-Twin engine. The air-cooled, two-valve powerplant has an 88 X 66mm bore/stroke with a claimed power output of 81 hp and 55.7 lb-ft. of torque. Besides being injected with the favorable traits of other Ducati Desmodue engines, the new Ducati mill also conforms to Euro 3 emission regulations.
